Otis Redding to get the day off right!

Now I just have to wait an hour until the bars open up on campus. Any suggests on what I should drink? I am thinking something like Glenlivet 12 or 15 but I kinda want to try something new too.

Congrats! Glenlivet good, but expensive. Savor it along with the sweet taste of success.

Congrats!

If I was celebrating right now I’d go for a Hemingway Daiquiri, which is basically a normal daiquiri (the old school cocktail kind, not that slushie that sorostitutes get drunk on at spring break) with less sugar and more rum.

Or if you’re really looking to get blasted, you can go with Hemingway’s actual favorite; a Papa Doble. A daiquiri with no sugar and double the rum.

Congratulations, that's a big deal! I have no taste for hard alcohol so I can't help you there, but enjoy your toast to success.

Never had a daiquiri. But anything Hemingway liked is at least worth a taste

Thank you! And I prefer to a beer. It just feels less heavy on my stomach I guess you could say.

They’re quite good. Then again, I’m a rum guy.

Definitely worth trying though. You probably need to find some kinda hipstery speak-easy style bar to get a proper one though. haha

Kinja'd!!!

congrats!! we went out after our final studio review (think a week without sleep and giving your most intense explanation of what you’ve been doing for a few months to a room full of people) We were out having a great time, then someone says, you know we still have grad school... and the table went quiet. I thought someone was going to kill him.

Haha yeah I would certainly be more celebratory too if I didn’t have to go to grad school myself.

That is fair. Perhaps some champagne will occur this evening.
